I recently received a payment from Blogsvertise. It is a payment I received from an opportunity I did a month ago. I'm very happy that my balance in my paypal account is being added again but I can't just cash it out yet to convert it into a cold cash. I don't have an EON card yet. I got a question from a virtual friend. His question is simple but also interesting. He asked, "Is there really money in blogging?". I answered yes. But I have to give a long explanation following to my answer.

There is indeed money in blogging but you can't just have money right after you set up a blog. There's a gigantic tasks before you can monetize your blog. You need to develop it for some time, build some strong links, create useful and unique content and you must have passion in blogging in the first place.

I used to think that moneymaking in blogging is just easy. But when I immersed myself with blogging, I now know the reality. Yes, you can earn through blogging but it takes time to develop ones blog and earn money from it. You need to have a page rank first before many advertisers will come in. If you're lucky enough and your content is really good, you can have advertisers but it's different when you get a PR, because of the huge possibility of your paid review to be indexed and that's what advertisers are after.

I have seen a lot of people earning from PTC (Paid to Click) sites and so I tried also to register to them. Anyways, registration is free so all I have to invest is my time and effort in clicking the ads daily.

I used to do PTC sites before but was discouraged because I was scammed. After several months of clicking and when I reach the payout, I did not receive any payment. But now,I'm trying to revive my enthusiam on PTC sites because I have seen that there are many who earn a decent amount from them. There were also many ads which is easier for you to accumulate earnings and you can rent referrals from them by just using your earned funds but they changed it lately. If you want to rent referrals, thay sk you to pay from your paypal or alertpay and I felt skeptical about the site this time. Plus, many of the users complained of the very slow payment. You have to wait months before they'll pay you. That smells fishy, so I stopped clicking the ads from them.

I have been blogging for a year now and I have already done a few paid posts but lately, paid posts are really rare. I received very few opportunities in paid reviews for the last three months. Last August 2, I received a notice in my email that I got funds from my a paid link in one of my blogs and I'm happy for it. Although it's small, but it will add up to my funds in my paypal and hopefully I can withdraw funds from there.

It's not the first time I received a payment from them. I used to receive a text link from my other blog which is PR 1 so the payment I received was only $1. Since this payment came from a text link in my PR 2 blog, the amount is $2. The higher the PR, the bigger also is the price of the text link placed in your site.
